Not very good performance for most of the game where we once again lacked creativity, were slow on the ball and late in pressing while Alaves managed to circulate the ball well, but win is a win. Good debut from Valdepenas. Copa del Rey in midweek next.

Not a bad start from us, the goal was well worked and finished but after that Alaves were better with us being too slow in build up and a step late in pressing. This is a very physical matchup, hoping for no more injuries and at least one more goal.

We slowed down a bit in the second half but still put out a good fight and had some really good moments but were unlucky in front of the net. Conceded after individual mistakes, couldn't punish the ones from City. Still in the top 8,loss but a step forward.
