A Wednesday night won't help either, I guess. Not a terrible crowd by any means!

I'm extremely far from being a baseball expert but looks like the batter doesn't have to adjust his swing at all. Perfect placement for him.

Meh, means Komatsu gets a start so I don't mind 😜 And I think most J League clubs play weakened sides in this comp early on, right?

At least it's not a really long journey back win, draw or lose!

They looked poor the other day when I watched them. Was surprised to see them so high up the table when I checked.

Well, we only gave them one point so not terrible!

Hope we can beat them for you today (but I seriously doubt it)! It surely can't be worse than the 5-1 defeat at their place early in the season. I still shiver thinking of Jesus's headed goal. Was like playing against under-10s....😳😅

Oh I saw that! Injured perhaps? Was beginning to get a few starts as well...

I want ex-Blaublitz players to play regularly and do well since we're not allowed to get any use out of them any more! 😜😆

Lovely assist from Komatsu to pick him out, of course. ;)

No fan of Kobe but pleased to see Ren Komatsu come on and get an assist. He's done well to get a move to a big J1 side but it would be nice if at least one Blaublitz player to go up a league got regular minutes and even excelled!

Think Iwata had a transfer ban for two windows? Didn't really affect them much in the end as they had a good enough squad to do well in J2!
martintesol.bsky.social
Good grief. Did he even play much for them? I wonder if the issue is to do with exchange rates? You'd think if it's in writing it would all be ironed out. Apparently not!

Snoop Dogg. Pretty sure it's Gin and Juice (without Googling it!).

1-2 hours by car or train so pretty near! Akita's closest is probably Sendai, 2 1/2 to 3 hours.

Okino Update!!!

He is going to be part of a Blaublitz football clinic this Saturday. He is classed as on 'OB', an ex-player. So maybe he has got into coaching...

Crikey! They've lost their way a little recently but they're still in a strong position for the play-offs.

Wow. Great effort! How many tickets were available? Apart from Yamagata and Sendai, away fans are allowed to mingle with home supporters in some sections at Soyu Stadium.

I'm very sorry to hear about your colleague. This work requires serious dedication so impressive stuff. Good luck with it!

I just think it's really slow football so 35+ players can play 90 mins most weeks. I watch Bradford City in League 1 and it is so much faster. Even League 2 football is much quicker and it's technically improved a lot in the past 5 years or so too. J League still has a long way to go I feel.

Kobe were decent but isn't it indicative of where the level of quality in J League is at that so many of their starting 11 are 30+? Even Komatsu is 27! And it was a poor miss but think his view was blocked and he saw it very late.

He should have scored there...!
