15 years ago, with writers far more talented than I, a book was created and published. Reading it on the train today...I'm so very proud of this little book wot I published. I'm also so very glad that these poets allowed my work to be seen alongside their skilled work.

My health seems to have nosedived again, but there have been some lovely harvests from the garden.
In the foreground, Four cobs of corn held in someone's hand. Bright yellow, large kernels. In the background a small pond filled with green lily pads, and a single white petalled water lily. A small tray containing hundreds of black and white striped sunflower seeds. In the background three sunflower heads still waiting to have their seeds harvested. Two containers of ripened or ripening tomatoes. Both containers have a variety of different sized and shaped tomatoes. A rack upon which lay dozens of bright green bean pods.

Good afternoon from my #veggarden.
A garden bathed in sunshine. In the centre a gnarled apple tree. Around it several raised beds full of veg plants too numerous to list. To the left a garden arbour arch. In the foreground a small wildlife pond shaded by a verdant green currant bush. Left of picture a gnarled apple tree trunk. In the foreground two black potato buckets sitting next to a small wildlife pond surrounded by white pebbles, a currant bush, and some primula. Next to this a black planter full of bright green oregano and sage. In the background more currant bushes, a plastic greenhouse, and a patio upon which is a metal four seat table set. The same garden, from a different view. Currant bushes are in the foreground, the apple tree trunk in the centre again, and the raised veg beds and arch in the background. A raised veg bed. It survived the harsh winter, and very soon my patience will pay off as I enjoy the first home grown broccoli of the year. Yum! 😋

Spring really is in the air and my first seedlings appear to be doing well.
