By diverting everyone else's electricity?

I don't think that making all the other NATO allies your enemy, will strengthen the US's security.

I don't think making all your economic partners despise you and boycott your goods and country, will improve your economy.

Choosing a racist idiot to be President... results are predictable

US President is different to a mob boss.

Putin could never have hoped to have had a better asset in the Whitehouse than Trump.

What more could a carefully crafted asset have given Putin than Trump has? And Trump is still in place, delivering.

So far, both he and the shadow minister have taken exactly the same grovelling line.
We are not 'Great' Britain when it comes to our politicians. This is what true weakness looks like. The worst kind. Not standing up for your friends and allies in the face of bully.

Don't post that hard right goon on here. FFS. This isn't twitter.

A mad man is running the asylum.

How wealth is accrued is not the point It's that having extreme amounts of it tied up in whatever, should not be a reason why they avoid taxes the rest of us can't.

The wealthy borrow against assets, live of that till death and avoid taxes.
November 20, 2025 at 11:45 AM
I don't get to spend all the money I owe in taxes on assets such as shares or property and then say, oh well, I've got nothing left to give HMRC, so you'll get almost nothing, discussion over.
November 20, 2025 at 11:21 AM
So we share in their profits. Do they make profits?
November 20, 2025 at 11:11 AM
What's this? Greed washing?

Oh, won't somebody please think of the super rich! They have it soooo hard!

Are these the same people that keep telling us they are going to leave the UK if we dare to tax them slightly more?
November 20, 2025 at 11:07 AM
Given that we've seen unprecedented levels of disillusionment of the BBC under right wing stewardship, perhaps we ought to have a clear out there and bring some balance back to the BBC.
November 20, 2025 at 9:39 AM
And this is being pursued by Carr, the same FCC guy that leant on the media companies, mafia style, that were airing the Kimmel shows, threatening to harm their prospects if they refused to cancel Kimmel.

They can't win by the rules. Always have to cheat.
November 20, 2025 at 9:28 AM
He added that "in reality, the FCC will probably come up empty. If the
programme wasn't broadcast in
Ąmerica, that's fatal to Trump's claim and to the FCC investigation. The FCO inquiry is a fishing expedition in a desert -- there's nothing to catch.'
November 20, 2025 at 9:11 AM
Yeah, but never mind that, did you see what the BBC did? Made it look like Trump incited the insurrection that he incited. So bad, he's gonna sure them for $1 billion.
November 13, 2025 at 12:40 PM
The irony is now there's room to replace them with someone from the left. Probably won't happen as the current supposedly left wing Govt is politically in the same place as the outgoing right wing Tories.
Would be funny if they did get a left DG in there though.
November 9, 2025 at 8:11 PM
It's bizarre and hilarious. These people running the BBC are staunch right wingers installed by the previous Tory (right wing) Govt. They've be forced to fall on their swords by one of the leading right wing papers here in the UK for telling the truth but with 1 bad editing choice.
November 9, 2025 at 8:09 PM
There's a word for this. Extortion.
November 7, 2025 at 11:32 PM
Limited to what? Making life on Earth unviable?

I liked him more when he appeared to possess a set of balls.
November 1, 2025 at 11:31 AM
Remember, it's not just Starmer, it's his advisors and the team around him. Politically they are about the same Tory neoliberals as the Cameron lot. Which is why they are as incompetent and unpopular.
McSweeny and co captured the Labour partyand made it right wing.
October 25, 2025 at 6:05 PM
I doubt the rest of the COP30 wasn't that embarrassing, reality-denying ignoramus there either. It's not like he will have anything helpful or constructive to add, and he certainly won't understand the matters being discussed.
October 25, 2025 at 7:43 AM
Warned by whom?

Will it do this even though it hasn't historically turned out that way here, hasn't worked out that way in other countries like the Scandinavian countries for example, and here in the UK we already are one of the most unequal countries on earth, the gap needs to be closed.
October 25, 2025 at 7:39 AM
Are people still clinging on to the hope that Labour might eventually govern in a Labour kind of way, rather than just the same as the previous 14 years of Tory failure and Reform chasing?

Seems pretty crazy.

Greens are the progressives now, Labour have abandoned that ground.

There's not a chance Israel will keep to the ceasefire. They engineer a way to go back to the previous rate of killing.
