I'm going out on a limb & gonna say there is no war on Drugs. It's all profit driven, the "war" drives up the price of Drugs, creates a prison industrial complex, the need for more cops, justifies intervention in other nations. It's all BS we've been fighting this war since 1971 & made ZERO progress
December 8, 2025 at 4:57 PM
Who is stupider Trump or a US electorate who continues to let our politicians use the war on drugs as a front for other goals. Since 1971 we have been waging this so called war on drugs, and we have made absolutely no progress. Maybe it has nothing do we combating the flow of drugs at all 🤔

Maga and the Republican Party are not the greatest enemies to reform. That title goes to Democrat voters. They are the ones who suck the energy from the left and demand that we support them because of course the Republicans are shit bags. Partisan politics is theater.

Just a quick reminder, Israel is still murdering children with US weapons, the genocide is continuing in spite of the cease fire. Democrats and Republicans are silent partners in this mass murder campaign. Our problems are way bigger than Trump. . We are governed by psychopathic murderers.
December 6, 2025 at 5:10 PM
2 Years of enabling a genocide thats killed 10s of thousands of children and Democrats aren't seeking an inquiry into that 🤔 One could be forgiven for thinking that the inquiry has nothing to do with the law or ethics but rather political expediency.

Democrats who want to go after Hegseth may want to consider what accountability will mean for them. There is a long tradition in the US of administrations having total impunity to murder people. Accountability is the political equivalent of Pandora's box, once you open it no one knows where it ends
December 5, 2025 at 7:02 AM
The absurdity never ends " conducted another deadly strike on a boat suspected of carrying illegal narcotics" there is a word for killing someone you suspect of a crime. It's called murder. But when your the President & or Sect. of "War" you get to murder people, it's the American way. #Hegseth

Oh FFS the NYT trying to act like they are covering an issue. The idiocy of the Hegseth & Trump's mass murder on the high seas debate is for morons. The US is a rouge terrorist nation and it's bleeding obvious. It's pathetic to read NYT pretending the obvious is somehow nuanced. 🙄

"the vessel remained afloat because it still held cocaine" It seems cocaine prevents boats from sinking. This is important information, it's a shame the titanic didn't have cocaine on board. Hegseth, Trump, and Bradley all think the public are idiots, and about that, well the verdict is still out.

If you disapprove of Trump and Hegseth murdering people in boats off the coast of Venezuela and you're not also calling for accountability for Biden and Obama you might be a hypocrite. The power of extrajudicial murder was grated to Obama and he used it excessively. And has not been held accountable
December 4, 2025 at 4:28 PM
Nonsense on stilts. No evidence of drugs presented, people blown out of their boat and into the water were on the radio. Yea ok. So, since they allegedly radio'd for help they were still "combatants" which they never were. Hegseth & Trump are simply murderers. Not a war crime cause there is no war.

Pretending we have a functional democracy is the greatest obstacle to building one. Democrats and Republicans are not the people's servants and unless and until citizens understand that fact and revolt in mass, nothing will change. They don't give AF about you. Donors rule & voting is theatrical.

The murderous behavior of Washington is not new and it is not partisan. Trump, Hegseth, are following a well worn path that inevitably leads to the murder of civilians. Impunity is what allows this to continue, and impunity is a bipartisan effort

Class war. And Democrats are taking the bait. There's only one way out of this fascist takeover of the government and it's not a midterm victory by Democrats. The amount of information available to citizens these days leaves us with no excuse for continuing to support our murderous government. Democrats & Republicans have presided over genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity. Voting for either party is turning away from what they have done.

Hegseth's stupidity is only surpassed by those who can take him seriously. He is a war criminal and a murderer just like his boss. The idea that you blow up a small boat then "the fog of war" causes you to murder people who are"hors de combat". (out of the fight) & in the water is just stupid.

The US murders people with impunity. Suddenly everyone's panties are in a bunch over the murder of 2 individuals. When for 2 years the US has been enabling a genocide where closer to 100,000 people have been murdered. The entire US leadership class are war criminals not just Hegseth. #Democrats

The problem with democracy is, if it were left up to the masses, the grotesque wealth inequality we see would meet with re-distribution we would have healthcare we would have affordable housing. We would have food security, and both the Republicans and the Democrats know this.

Democrats & Republicans are full of shit. They question the legality of murdering people, while at the same time the overwhelming majority of them have enabled a genocide in Gaza which is clearly a war crime and violates our own law "the Leahy Law" They're all war criminals.
