the girl i love, the girl i miss

i honestly spent like an hour and a half only figuring out how to draw the “handle” and not make it look like a chicken leg sticking out of some lady’s face. it was painful, but the result looks okay i guess :D

day 26: harpy

#swordtember
drawing of a sword which design resembles a figure of a harpy (a bird with a woman’s face, duh). the foot with the claw clenching a big pearl is the handle of the sword, and the body of the harpy is where the guard normally is. the left side of her face is depicted on the blade with her long hair going up to the tip of the sword. she’s hiding behind one of her wings, anger on her face. she’s wearing a pearl necklace and a pearl earring.
