Something that I think we can all agree on is that the current generation of Democratic leadership is simply not optimized for the Attention Age. Not really their fault! And honestly, they may be better people for it, but it's a pretty pressing political problem.

Just read ON TYRANNY by Timothy Snyder. Written 7 years ago it is frighteningly prescient, using history to connect the dots to how people and countries transform from democracy to tyranny. Only 127 pages. It’s available in libraries. If nothing else, slowly read the first and last chapters.
