I knew that sooner or later I would end up dipping in this franchise.
That said, I'm surprised by how tame and grounded things actually started out, to the point I actually found myself wanting bigger stunts (maybe in place of Diesel's bad clothed "sex" scene)

I happen to have a soft spot for Brenda Song.
All heaven-related stuff and concepts are actually really enjoyable, unfortunately we pause them for most of this movie in favor of boring romances that go nowhere.
Also King Bach is in this and gets the best scenes

Surprisingly found myself enjoying some of the Looney Tunes-like sequences, but this movie also gets lost in having so many miniplots that I feel like it would have worked better as a TV series.
At least this one has a proper villain...

It was very interesting to watch this one close to the OG, esp in how it's more scifi than western. Vibed with it slightly more, maybe because of the more energetic animation, tighter plot or more melancholic tone.

345) Metroid Prime 4: Beyond
Admittedly more a 2D metroidvania fan and not one for FPS, but I did really enjoy this one, even with its higher action-focus.
Didn't mind the open world and NPCs, just wish more had been done with them and they were better integrated. Same with Sylux.

Literally everything that could go wrong, did go wrong.
Do not blame the animators, who probably got screwed over the most. The only ones at fault are the horrible execs who greedily push these things without regards for anyone but themselves.
