A single phone call can forever alter one's life and emotional well-being. As a mother, I dread receiving such a call, yet I got it yesterday. The news feels like a piercing wound, leaving my heart shattered. My eldest son, Kyle, passed away on the 20th, and I was informed yesterday. I am broken.
