My dad & my 7 uncles served in European Theatre. A cousin was killed by incoming rocket in Fallujah at 25yo. We are a family of service & we thank tour family for their service.

I made a pie, too! Not traditional Thanksgiving pie but it is a family recipe. It’s a pineapple cream cheese pie. Not quite custard; not quite cheesecake.

Our growing group (10yrs & growing stronger) crafts for the underserved, pregnant military, UKR refugees, cancer patients. Some of the prettiest blankets are from yarn stashes & partial skeins. I’m working on this baby blanket now.

Joey is the best! He loves to chill with us in the family room. I’m grateful we can sit around the Thanksgiving turkey & fixings & enjoy family.

Iceberg lettuce is $3.99/head in SE PA. Romaine is $2.99/lb. Everything I bought last week was $.50-$1 more than the week before. Locatelli cheese at BJs is now $13.49/lb & it was $9.99/lb just last year.
