Straight from watching Keir’s speech into a panel discussing how to mobilise investment in nature. Great questions from the chair and the engaged and knowledgeable audience.

I’m so pleased to have secured £20 million of funding for Willenhall - £2 million every year for the next decade. It’s up to residents in Willenhall to decide how it’s spent - anything from improving our parks, to fixing up the streets and empty buildings. Let me know what you think! #prideinplace

This week I proudly voted for:

✅ Day One Rights
✅ Strengthening sick pay
✅ Banning Fire & Rehire

Reform and the Tories voted against it - of course!

🌹Labour will make work pay.

Wonderful to see my opening of The Meadow at Stoke Primary School on BBC Midlands Today.

The first of Labour's new school-based nurseries in Coventry making a real difference for children and parents in Stoke.
Just one aspect of the Labour government's plans to give children the best start in life.

Visiting Stoke St Michael's, led by Rev. Claire McArthur to meet Sarah and Gareth from the Commonwealth War Graves Commission. John, a brilliant @cwgc.bsky.social volunteer cleans all the war graves twice a year, here and across the city. A moving tribute to those to whom we all owe so much.

Very pleased to see that Willenhall Police Station has reopened to the public this week. It is open from 9am to 5pm seven days a week. Labour's Neighbourhood Policing Guarantee and the work WM Police and Crime Commissioner Simon Foster are making Coventry's streets safer.

With new Secretary of State for Defra, Emma Reynolds, showing support for #BackBritishFarmingDay. Every penny of the £2.6bn committed in 2024-25 went to support farmers & protect the environment. We'll continue to make British farming fairer, greener and more profitable with our #PlanforChange.

💨improves air quality &

🐇protects rare wildlife.

Great news for boosting skills in the defence industry which will lead to more secure and well paid jobs. So many people in Coventry work in this sector. We have several major employers who I know will welcome this.

Wonderful news that Longford Park in my East Coventry constituency has been received a Green Flag Award.
This recognises the hard work of the staff and volunteers who ensure that the park is accessible to all, serves its local community and is managed to high standards. Well done!

Positive meeting with Minister @marycreagh.bsky.social to raise the concerns of residents impacted by the Simonswood Stink. You've put up with this for too long. I won’t stop until it’s resolved.
