Large (11 inches) Mandala. Using the backside of inexpensive cold press watercolor paper because it is smoother than front side. Permanent ink pens for black detail. Alcohol markers for base color. Over color with wax based colored pencils.

Sometimes I make beaded brooches. Here is a little black and bronze buggy. The body is a pyrite cabochon. It has a pretty hefty pin on the back. I like pretty cabochons and making buggies gives me an excuse to go to rock shops and look through the cabs....like I need an excuse😅

Mandala on watercolor paper (hot press), Pigma pens in black, watercolor over shaded with Prismacolor pencils, and some gold watercolor paint (Finetec Arabian gold).
