My cat Bentley is sick. She's never sick. We've been to the vet and just waiting for the treatment to start working. I just want her to stop being uncomfortable.

I've been watching The Outer Limits. Fun to see "the future" in 1963. Also, just how young WAS David McCallum in '63? He looks about 16. And Robert Culp was either under contract or worked really cheap. He's in so many episodes.

A friend was deported because ICE said he was Afghan. He is Romanian, here legally on a green card. The judge said ICE had no right to detain and they deported him anyway, leaving his wife and child here. A highly valued engineer who has lived here for 10 years now hates the US. Are we great yet?

I tried to order meds from our supplier in Aus. They save our rescue $$$ by letting us buy meds that are Rx in the US w/o a vet OK. Wormers, mite killer, flea stuff. Because of the Dumpster's trade war, they won't ship to the US. So I spent this morning finding a work around. Are we great yet?

Lawmakers in FL have never seen a polio outbreak. They've never had to tell a son he won't be a dad because of mumps. Never had to explain to a pregnant woman what her measles may mean to her fetus. They've never had to teach a child who CAN't be immunized and depends on herd immunity. Just wait.

Yesterday, CPB closed it's doors because of lack of funding. No more NPR for rural America. No more funds for quality programming on PBS. All to please the dumpster.
