British dinner — bangers and mash with onion gravy and (non-mushy) peas — before we did the Finders Seekers London box. Cadbury Fingers cookies and Tim Tams (Australian, not British, but close enough…. 🤣) for dessert.

Sweet morning celebrating the day before Colleen’s birthday. We did the Bulk Candy Store tour. While there, we did the “create your own” jumbo peanut butter cup and bought a bunch of candy. Then we stopped by Key Lime to Happiness, where we got some pie bites and a “Puppy Pie Bite” for Ginger.

Happy Mardi Gras! I made chicken and andouille sausage jambalaya for dinner, which I served with a nice crusty bread. We had cinnamon King Cake for dessert. Laissez les bons temps rouler!

Colleen and I had a fun “girls day” today. We made ramen bowls at a pottery studio. We’ll be able to pick up the fired and glazed bowls in 2-3 weeks.

Catching up a little on advent calendars, now that we’re all home again. Days 7 and 8 of Ginger’s advent calendar (treats and toys), Day 12 of Steve’s advent calendar (coffee), and Days 18 and 19 of our family advent calendar (puzzles).

Steve and Colleen picked up Ginger today from the dog sitter’s house. 🥰 We’ll get caught up with her advent calendar treats/toys when I get home. At least we didn’t have to skip any days with Colleen’s book advent calendar-I brought them with me on our 3 cruises. Picture is day 25 (yesterday).

The family did a blind soda taste test tonight…. some of them were “interesting.” The bottles (pictured) were revealed after we all rated them all.
