I try to start the convo from a point of agreement - May have to go all the way back to “ok, we should all benefit from effective government”, but starting with agreement helps drop defensiveness.
If a reasonable agreement point can’t be found, no convo is necessary bc that’s not what they want.

I wasn’t in the alt text habit when I got here but I turned on the reminder so I could be a good community member and found that, while my alt text is pretty uninspired, some have made it an art form😂
