We got to interview Junichi Masuda, and he shared some insight on the Pokémon 'Furfrou'!
J: 'While developing Kalos, we wanted to add a Pokémon that was uniquely French. So, we made one based off of a dog breed heavily associated with that culture.'
Furfrou may be inspired by the French Bulldog!
