Two points:

1) Now that drives are averaging starting at the 30-40 yard line having 60+ yard field goals essentially means 2 first downs = 3 point. This incentivizes dink and dunk offenses with low risk, and further penalizes defenses for existing.

2) Kicking should be boring besides game winners
