One of the things I used to enjoy the most in the software development process was reviewing code. Unfortunately, AI generated code degrades the experience as it often introduces over-engineered code, or code not cleaned up properly. You end up putting the same comments over and over again.

Portable screens are the way to go when working abroad. They are light, you can put them anywhere and they give some small space you need. In my case for the simulators or communication apps

Nowadays, I upskill my programming knowledge by just picking up a random GitHub issue and trying to fix it. With AI, I don't need to know much about a specific language, but just to understand how to troubleshoot and fix

Best thing I could start doing was to unsubscribe from a tons of emails and disabling all app notifications. I was getting too distracted unnecessarily

I have spent a lot of time in the last two years working from outside my home, and I learnt that where I get most of my focus is normally in relatively busy places such as airports, planes and trains.

I've been learning Kotlin just by contributing to OSS and it has really grown on me. I like it a lot now, even though my knowledge is still somewhat limited.
