This is a HUGE bet. OpenAI will be the first line of Masayoshi’s career byline, either as a success of a failure. Ahead of Alibaba, WeWork, and ARM. 🍿

The only thing that the Zelensky White House meeting proves is that someone around Trump still knows how to produce gripping reality TV

A tariff is a tax. If you give companies a new tax, they need to raise prices to make the same profit. The consumer ends up paying the higher price, inflation. You sell less stuff, GDP shrinks. Not sure why that’s so hard to understand.

JD Vance has strong feelings about social welfare programs. Read Hillbilly Elegy. It’s a large part of why he was selected. The biggest scam was getting all of these Americans on government assistance to vote for a Trump ticket and then pulling the rug out from under them.

Executive branch can’t unilaterally nullify a law passed by Congress (i.e the establishment of an agency like the CFBP). If they gut the workforce which ultimately prevents the agency from achieving their mandate, isn’t that effectively the same thing? Seems like we’re going to find out…

There’s one 1933 double eagle in private hands. There are ten at Fort Knox. Elon and Trump are headed to Fort Knox to “audit” the gold reserve. Ain’t no way Elon and Trump aren’t taking one of these with them on the way out the door. You heard it here first www.smithsonianmag.com/smart-news/1...

We’re talking about the principle of fairness. Giving a captain of industry access to government data that could potentially be used to further their personal interests. Almost feels like this is more dangerous to have DOGE operate without an official status.
