My partner will get the M1 Max, upgrading from a 2018 Intel MBP that (despite it being equally upgraded at the time) NEVER edited 4K video the way you’d expect. It’ll easily last her another 3 years before she gets my M5 and I upgrade again.
Really happy to get out of the ‘upgraded CPU’ cycle too.

This is at least until I figure out what I want my relationship with social media to ‘be’. I can’t go back to doomscrolling endlessly. I just can’t. Having months away has been incredible for my mental health - not because I’m suddenly doing so well, but because I’ve given myself the space to ponder
