First post nerves... the vast majority of my posts on here will be music or bass related, sometimes with my cats. Some basses I can just pick up and feel an instant connection with. In 1979, I bought a 1963 Hofner Violin bass with original strap and tweed case, for next to no money when they were deeply unfashionable and nobody wanted them. I used it in a band playing rock'n'roll for a couple of years, then sold it when I changed bands and had no need for it. Fast forward..1/n
