We need a Taxpayers Not withstanding clause that we can use to make the government pay for such blatant items like the wells. What else would be worth gathering?

If I understand this correctly, people like nurses and teachers and others in regulated professions will now be free to criticize ucp policies and action loudly and often, and in large groups. Sound right?

Agree the we need to keep the AHS CEO situation in mind. But why do Alberta taxpayers have to fund meetings at the most expensive hotels? There were 10 people at the dinner, so not $75 each paid by us, but $137. And we don't know what the rooms bill was, do we? Will we ever find out?

Also, the survey uses the "potential" as in, the money from fees MIGHT be used for the implied purpose. Remember the Kananaskis fee: where did the money go? Mostly to pay a private firm for enforcement of the fee.

A tax is a tax. If the UCP government has its way, all government programs will require personal payments. That way, they can reserve general revenue for their pet projects.
