my final grandparent passed last week which was more of a blow than i expected as I never really had a problem processing family grief up until this point, but with all of the other stuff that occured in december it really gave a bitter start to the new year

removing expectations has been so mentally freeing, i don't need to be anywhere to please anyone, i just do my own shit on my own time which if i dont think about it too much feels like independence rather than loneliness
