You're right, on reflection it couldn't have been the speakers because that one "tone" knob gave us all the fine control we needed for perfect balance.

The beauty is that you get to discover music twice. Once through these and again, years later, when you're picking out all the nuances you missed in Crazy Town's "Butterfly".

I always find it far more embarrassing for Twitter when I snorkel over there to look for updates from a specific account only to see that their last post was two years ago. Bonus points if wasn't even a "I'm leaving" post. Just complete drop-everything abandonment.

I do the same thing but with games magazines from the late 90s/early 00s to find the "hardcore" ads.

The type where a guy sits on a couch with broken hands and blood pouring out his eyes and it's for Pacman 2000.

Or full page ads for nu-metal compilation soundtracks for films like Scream 2.

I assume this would have already been on your radar, but just in case it wasn't and is something you're interested in...

"...who previously lacked the skills"

This is such a gross, belittling way of looking at it since they'll still lack the skills and likely always will.

Anyone who uploads AI content will either succeed and continue or fail and stop. I doubt either will pivot to doing it manually.

While I'm glad people have an understanding of aspect ratio and cropping it's a shame that it's the (incorrect) takeaway from this rather than the reiteration that everything has VFX, even a bunch of men standing around in suits, and it's not a bad thing!

Pyro is so 80's. You hit play on a fancy modern PowerPoint presentation, don't you? 😉

My sister had Ronan Keating's If Tomorrow Never Comes as her first dance and the wedding DJ himself said "normally play this one at funerals". Just before her first dance at her own wedding!

Despite the fact that the whole song is basically "I *need* this person to know that I love them *so much*".

I've not seen the first one. Was Mario a stone cold cunt in that too? Why'd he break little Bowser's heart like that?
