ഈ വർഷം പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയ ഭൂട്ടാൻ യാത്രാനുഭവ ആഖ്യാനങ്ങളിലൊന്നാണ് കല സജീവൻ എഴുതിയ "സന്തോഷം ഒരു ദേശമാണ്: ഭൂട്ടാൻ യാത്രാനുഭവങ്ങൾ" എന്ന പുസ്തകം. ഭൂട്ടാനിലെ പ്രകൃതിയും മനുഷ്യരും ജീവിതവ്യാപാരങ്ങളും നിറസമൃദ്ധിയോടെ പ്രത്യക്ഷപ്പെടുന്ന ഈ ആഖ്യാനം മികച്ച വായനാസുഖം പകരുന്നു. മാതൃഭൂമി ബുക്സാണ് ഈ പുസ്തകത്തിൻ്റെ പ്രസാധകർ.

ഡോ. എൻ. സുരേഷ്കുമാർ രചിച്ച "സാംതേഗാംങ് സ്മരണകൾ" എന്ന പുസ്തകം 1980 കളിലെ ഭൂട്ടാൻ ജീവിതത്തിൻ്റെ നേർചിത്രമാണ്. 1980 കളിൽ നിരവധി മലയാളി അദ്ധ്യാപകർ ഭൂട്ടാനിൽ സേവനം ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്. സമ്പൂർണ്ണ രാജവാഴ്ചക്കാലത്തെ ഭൂട്ടാനെ അടുത്തറിയാൻ സഹായിക്കുന്ന ഒരു പുസ്തകമാണിത്. കേരള ഭാഷാ ഇൻസ്റ്റിറ്റ്യൂട്ടാണ് ഈ പുസ്തകം പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.
