Eventually, it will look like this:

Absolutely. In fact I suspect a lot of Bluesky users are in that category. It's in the ecosystem - where apps interconnect - where I think people will start seeing what we see.

Really liking the look of @gandersocial.bsky.social, particularly the built-in bias ratings, source credibility, and fact-check results, something I wireframed for myhub (checks notes) over 5y ago!!??

Ok, grandpa, time for bed. Are your diapers fresh?

My mind autocompleted the headline with "... White House", because metaphorically it's already happened so he might as well get it done IRL I guess.

You need not have bothered saying "I'm almost always right, but go ahead and show me wrong", as you'd already convincingly demonstrated that you're this guy and thus a total waste of time.

It's hugely important to know that AIgen video is a major win for authoritarians, who'll be able to claim now that any video evidence of state abuse is fake.

Also: Bluesky has the tools we need. This is a mute list, but a labeller would be better: see the content, knowing it can't be trusted.

Also you'd think this would have been picked up quicker

Are you across Groundmist? It pushes local files to your PDS. Could unlock a lot of useful things.

And by the time you get there you look down and realise you're on the blimp from Bladerunner and Rutger Hauer is looking at you funny.

Something vaguely threatening about this otherwise wonderful post.

WHY will this be suddenly very important???

Thinking I'm going to need to redo the logo and rethink the brand...

I need to feed good posts into my content workflow, so I'm forced to save to external tools like raindrop. Pocket etc.

It's way, way less seamless than it should be. But I'm guessing most users like me would prefer to see that workflow remain private.

This is pretty cool! cc @ronent.bsky.social, who's building a social network for scientists, and @aendra.com, who will appreciate the in-depth exploration of the dataviz (and probably a lot more).

Bluesky growth will not come from being X2.0, but from:

1. people discovering how composable moderation permits higher engagement & s/n

2. ATmosphere growth: being the dominant chat app in a growing ecosystem of unique, value-delivering apps, with which it is deeply integrated.
