Yes I did! I dont like using physbones nor simulation in my work because of how unpredictable they can be sometimes. I instead used shapekeys to animate the hair in this animation to have complete control over the movement of the hair

No worries, just try to do some researches first before coming to conclusions like that and making some hurtful comments. But yes, this is simply a 3D adaptation of sablecitrus' animation which I made the 3D model myself and I do intend on crediting them when I post the finished result.
