Nope

I'm there to play and that means automatic buy in from me, and my PC, for what the GM presents

They've devoted time prepping beforehand & spending brain bandwidth to improvise during, that to do otherwise would be disrespectful imo

If I'm pressed by the GM for something specific I use FFG...

The thing about a good story is the call to adventure is often something the protagonist(s) can't ignore. It's either personal, or world-changing/ending, making it necessary for them to act whether they want to or not.

Sometimes their backstory ties into the main plot as a justification.

Maybe they were traveling together via happenstance and ended up being trapped in a dangerous dimension where they need to work together to survive?

That one's actually the party dynamic for the Curse of Strahd game I'm playing in!

These kinds of party dynamics work better when they have no choice but to work together. Maybe they're the only ones willing and able to prevent the apocalypse. Maybe they've had their destinies interwined by a curse and must go on a quest together to break it.

Honestly? I personally like party dynamics where some PCs don't agree with or get along with the others. It creates some great tension and can be a great way to have character growth.

The Avengers weren't exactly best buds when they first teamed up, yeah?

We are aware the first several episodes will likely be difficult to get through, but we've improved! We're on session 40 right now even if that is far from being uploaded at this point, and we've learned a lot as we've gone on.

We hope you'll give us a chance!
