Surely they could have had volunteers stand to block it off to make it clearer where riders were supposed to go?

This also explains why he spent so long chatting alone on the front. He knew it was cursed from the start.

For me I haven’t checked Twitter in weeks - but still seem to not fully committed to BlueSky? Probably because it’s hard to get the “buzz” before the season really kicks into swing

He did have a point that you don’t want to see them against each other in every other race though!

Waiting for the follow up

There are so so many ways rider safety could be improved - and having ASO not recognise that responsibility lies with UCI and organisers first is infuriating

It’s nice up there

True - maybe I just need to commit

We have a family villa in Moraira between Denia and Calp - you see them ALL THE TIME.
There’s a couple of great cycle hire places as well!

For the exact same reason you have with Olav Kooij I need Tim Merlier away from QuickStep or Kaden Groves away from Alpecin. It’s a coin toss between the two.

Strade Bianche - just a beautiful race.
Though for great organisation and considering how new it is - O Gran Camino is one to watch
