I don't mind them TBH, I've met a couple and they were very affectionate - they feel more like a warm peach than something out of Alien Earth😅

I wouldn't get one cos I'm not a fan of selective breeding and they're not exactly common in rescues, but I liked the two I knew🙂

That might be mean, living North of the Wall as I do - we had a particular vicious winter last July.
Besides, the Ice Trolls might mistake it for food and that could make things socially awkward.

She's bigger than she looks in photos mind you - about 7kg - and her coat is very dense. I vaguely wonder if there's something like Norwegian forest cat somewhere in her makeup.

I don't remember the brand but I bought it on Amazon a few years back. It's something like this one - button on the back to push the mountains of hairy off it rather than picking it out of the bristles. Searching Cat Brush turns up a few similar ones.

I suppose for me it's a bit like the difference between the 37 expensive graded pencils and artisan mountain fairy vellum some people insist you SHOULD be using for your drawings, & the one 5B pencil plus WH Smiths paper pad you actually use.

Granted, GIMP is free & I paid a fiver. Worth it though🙂

It's kinda like that bloke thing; instead of buying a decent basic cordless drill from Aldi Specialbuys, they spend £400 labouring under the misapprehension they're starting a north sea drilling operation on something massive with billions of attachments. To hang a door😅

Full packages are overkill🙂

Probably, which is great as I never found out what the other 11/12 do. I'm not a professional digital artist😅

It's got the paint options I 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥 for painting sketching, editing, filtering, colour grading etc though. The streamlining makes it quicker & more pleasant. I get better results for it TBH🙂

All I want is a set of curated tools to sketch, paint, edit pics for my amusement, make silly posters & books. And it's comfier doodling curled up on the sofa, so a tablet app is great.

It's just so much faster & easier than trogging off to a PC desk to wrestle with an overkill does-it-all program🥰

The name is a swizz, because it has a fraction of PS / GIMP / Krita's feature sets.

But I have 𝘯𝘰 𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘢 what most of that stuff really does because I never use it. It's just layers of menus & settings and pointless bloat that gets in the way and slows everything down.
They're just silly for my use😅

It's very much a personal preference. Although TBH both GIMP and Krita are just silly for what I do - 90% of them is clutter that just gets in the way for me as I'm not a professional digital artist.😅
I can do everything I need in Infinite Painter on my android tablet, with Ibis Paint for lettering.

Krita is well worth a look too. I found it a lot friendlier than GIMP, although I also use a tablet TBF.
