When someone tells you they follow the Dark Side of the Force, you should believe them.

Maybe not about their power in the Force, but definitely with what their intent is.

Any researcher who still thinks we all lived in egalitarian societies until the invention of agriculture started a species-wide “fall from grace” into inequality should really be in the theology department, as this idea simply has nothing to do with science or evidence ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Worth noting in these troubled times:

"Revolutions are rarely won in open combat. When revolutionaries win, it's usually because the bulk of those sent to crush them refuse to shoot, or just go home."

Connecting issues activity of Sunday’s Community of Communities. When you break down seemingly desperate issue like #homelessness, #immigration, & #USImperialism into their component parts, causes, & impacts the connections & opportunities for join action and #solidarity become readily apparent.

From Sunday’s #CommunityOfCommunities. We each shared “why are we here?” to build the foundation of an us from a group of former strangers. It’s a good practice for IRL when you need to understand a person’s whys and their values so you can build a shared identity and foundation for collaboration.

I want data privacy for all Americans.

I don’t want TikTok, Meta, or X to have my digital data.

I don’t want Elon Musk to have my social security data.

We deserve data privacy.

To get how the Chinese #DeepSeek AI was created cheaper & more efficient than VC/PE backed AI in the US, realize when US companies talk about their “innovation” they actually mean their “investment”. Why look for an investment of $6 million to train a model when you can look for one of $7 trillion!?

Having trouble managing the flood of messages from biologist pals chortling that Trump's anti-trans executive order legally defines every American as female, because defines people by their gender *at conception,* and all embryos are phenotypically female (they differentiate after 6-7 weeks).

Solidarity is the only thing that can save us.

If you look back at history, solidarity has propelled essentially all social progress that we now celebrate or take for granted. And is what we need to move forward.

“Solidarity Is the Only Thing That Can Save Us”

There is a degree of #ableism in my approach to #facilitation that I’ve recently become aware of. I use many #TheatreOfTheOppressed techniques to get people on their feet and interacting with others to collectively express and create solutions to issues in their lives.
