No cognisance of the Four Colour Theorem at the Salvador Dali exhibition at the D’Arenberg Gallery & Winery. Made up for it with lots of inspiring sculptures.

I got a bit excited about buying a sculpture for $1975, until I realised there were another 3 zeros on the price tag!

I'm always on the lookout for children's books I can use for teaching math. Here's one I just found and purchased. It combines doubling numbers and visualizations of them. svenvoelker.com/a-million-dots

Possible #lessonstarter?

2025 is a 'square year.' Were you alive to enjoy the last one?

Will you be alive for the next one?

How far ago to have lived through two square years? Three square years? Four? Five?

‘Think and Do’ my driving instructor advised.

‘Think and do, think and do.’

And when I finally passed my driving test he said:

‘It takes a lot of thinking and doing before you can do without thinking.’

Genius.
It inspired a drawing…

I still miss my favourite #fractions #lessonstarter at Melbourne Airport. I still subconsciously look for it as I amble down the stairs!
