I am attempting to understand how my case left the UK at 20.3kg and since, nothing additional has been added to it and weighed 20.4kg at the hotel, 22.7kg on one of the scales in the airport, and now 24.9kg at the bag drop.

Do they calibrate?

I tried sleeping for much longer during the flights but my body couldn't adjust, especially with too many distractions. Envious of people who can board a plane and fall asleep before pushback.

Air New Zealand's #skycouch and #skynest would have been nice. But I flew Cathay... (No choice really 🤭).

It is currently 17:20 NZST and my body still thinks it is 06:20 GMT. I travelled for 45 hours from my home in the UK to the hotel in NZ, sleeping for only 3 hours. Caught up on sleep last night, but tiredness is starting to creep up again. Hopefully I am refreshed for the poster session. #phdlife

My first full-day in Christchurch for the #giscience2025 conference (starting tomorrow for me) and I highly recommend Dosa Kitchen at the #Riverside #Market for anyone into #streetfood. The mixed vegetable Dahl with naan is mouthwatering!

And wow! The #Christchurch Botanical Gardens are awesome!
