Baseball is pretty wild. We are lucky as Jays fans that the owners spend money but there are like ten teams in baseball that get all of the free agents. A lot of fan bases have zero hope of getting better

Dont think they should give up on Mccarthy yet. They do need a competent backup in case he gets hurt again next season though. They likely make playoffs if they didn't have to start brosmer
