I have all of their albums digitally, but I always found they ended up sounding so samey-samey over time. Nothing ever stood out to me. The last couple of albums have been ok. Except that Dave is relatively right-wing at this point - and that Ice-T bit on that one song was cringe as fuck.

I was just thinking this morning that I rarely give Megadeth the credit they deserve with the run of albums "Peace Sells... But Who's Buying?," So Far, So Good... So What!," and "Rust in Peace."

I didn't really follow them much after Countdown to Extinction (it was ok) and Youthanasia (bleh)

Americans were mortified by the level of vitriol and glee that the death of Margaret Thatcher brought out in so many Brits because there is a deeply rooted American norm of "not pissing on the memory" of someone who has died... seemingly no matter how horrible they were.

That's one thing I don't miss after having moved to an eDrum kit... I know, I know... I fought against buying electric drums for decades, but my acoustic kit was too big and too loud to fit my life anymore. I do miss the LOUDNESS (and I had way more drums & cymbals on that kit).
