I've tried to read two books at once before. When all was said and done, I ended up reading no books. Not even with audiobooks. Gotta be one at a time for me.

But I also can't even walk and drink at the same time, if that says anything about my ability to multitask lol

How can people read more than one book at a time? I wish I had that ability...

Of course! It'll probably be a while before we cover that one on the podcast (we wanna make sure we have our ducks in a row before diving in, so we can give the book the credit it deserves) but it's 1000% on our list. Both of us rate the book so highly

Also, it is a hardcore girlboss book in disguise. The narrator 100% understands that, and she absolutely nails it

For a story that takes place over tens of thousands of years, with one of the pov's being from an entire species of jumping spiders over that time, it is surprisingly easy to follow.

There's really only a half dozen characters to keep track of. The narrator does a good job of giving them voices
