Yes, NG is national guard. The whole point was all of these police forces are heavily outmanned compared to ICE. And that attitude makes 0 sense. If they agree, they’d just get in on the action. So if you think there’d be an actual stand off that would only happen if they want to stop them

Also, if your assumption is the NG are on our side I’m not sure why you’re rooting for “cop on cop” violence. If you think they aren’t, what makes you think they’ll shoot each other?

Lol no it doesn’t. The Mexican standoff is just for arresting that specific agent. They’re legally allowed to be there so the NG can’t just be used to say “hey, gtfo” We can pontificate all we want about this but people don’t want to start a civil war

Yeah, and if there are just individual agents she might actually go through with it. But they’re not gonna do the heinous stuff when it’s just a couple of them in a city. There are 6 times as many ICE people in Minneapolis right now as there are cops

Yeah, their major mistake was not passing the initial bbb bill with all the social programs cause those would have directly benefited families in tangible ways they could see. Biden wasn’t elected on a massive mandate to defund the police. He was the only one to say it was a bad idea and he won
