Today while gardening, I saw a bumblebee. Thing is it's the 19th of December, in Rural Oxfordshire UK. The temperature today was 10°c. Lots of bulbs are already coming up, including daffodils. EVERYTHING IS CONFUSED, CLIMATE CHANGE IS REAL & HAPPENING! #climatechange #bumblebee #nature #environment

I hear people who talk about the need for a strong man to lead a nation, personally I would choose a wisdom over strength. So question:
Do people who talk about the need for a strong man to lead them, have a serf mentality? Are they victims of their own mental weakness? 🤔

When art, music & literature become less about the creative expression & experiences of individuals & shared experiences of expression from one human to another & becomes about consumerism, something that is bought & sold, that is the death of civilization as we know it. 🎭

Something just occurred to me while, kneeling in a flower bed, whilst weeding, interacting with Robins & worms, whilst listening to the transatlantic sessions, through my headphones...AI will never replace real interaction with nature or real human live performance. 💚

So I asked AI if AI was bad for the environment & AI said "Yes it is" which I know anyway. We are in a climate emergency & we are ploughing billions of money into something that can only have a negative impact on people & planet...

. On 17 November 1989, students gathered to mark the 50th anniversary of the closure of Czech universities by the Nazis. The peaceful demonstration was brutally suppressed, yet that very moment became the fuse that mobilised an entire nation. And so began The Velvet Revolution!

Today is Czech Independence Day. Vaclav Havel wrote the poem "It is I who must begin"during the Velvet revolution. He then went on to be the first Democratically elected president of the new Republic.

It was his left ear that got shot wasn't it? It has certainly healed up very well, almost like he never got shot at all?
He does have quite a scraggy neck though....

Sometimes it's good to take a closer look at what's down beneath your feet. Get a closer look & see what is at ground level. There's a whole world of life we can easily overlook.

Been reading Silent Earth, by Dave Goulson. And this graphic shows the impact of cropped seeds dressed with Neonicotinoids can have of the soil & surrounding environment. Only 5% of the insectide is taken up by the crop while 94% is leached into the soil & water. Over time this accumulates.

You can really learn the demographic of an area, by what you might find in the local charity shops. Found these in Princes Risboro. It would make quite an interesting study. I wonder what you may find in Clacton on Sea? The Hungry Caterpillar next to Mien Kampf & Tax for Dummies 🤔
