The Israeli government's planned hosting of Tommy Robinson is a reprehensible betrayal of Jewish values and history.

Robinson is a racist street thug. He is no friend of British Jews.

We must never permit the far-right to exploit antisemitism to attack Muslims.

Good to discuss on i24News.

I was today years old when I learnt Cardi B is pig latin Bacardi cos she couldn't use her nick name, Bacardi, as her stage name cos Trademarked. Mind blown

Yep. It definitely is. It's something I was following much more closely when it was smaller, but it's gotten too big for me really, and I ended up overwhelmed since it's not my full time job, and I had my own battles. I looked away for a moment and now it's mainstream

just a starting point, rather than an end point.

BUT, that doesn't explain to me why it's hit the secular in the way it has. I'm surprised we don't have Jonas Brothers purity rings back yet tbh

Thing is, I know where they are coming from Biblically, and a lot of it stems from a modern reading of the Bible as a literal word of God written by humans like magical writing, instead of the way it was understood within Judaism and for two thousand years by Christians as poetic and mystical and

The thing that scares me is the new secular version of the Christian things that were previously extreme, and are now mainstream, not least: anti-sex, Biblical zionism, anti-vaccine and the grand return of anti-gay talking points, as well as nationalism with crosses

Ahh yes that's fair. There's a subtly to the UK side, but it's been showing it's hand more and more recently

For those who take a niche interest in the Americanisation of UK rightwing politics, formerly Tory-linked student group Turning Point are increasingly going down the Charlie Kirk-type evangelical path.

[Not the point, but I love the idea of 2025 Soho being some hotbed of sin]

I'm away this weekend, but I'll try and remember to get nan to you with some names and resources. It's bizarre to see everything my Christian extremist family taught in our home school, cut off from the world cult, is now just mainstream

Silence can be very isolating. It’s comforting to see public care and solidarity.

Solidarity to my Muslim friends experiencing violence in the streets and hate online as disgusting people celebrate an attack on a Mosque by two people in East Sussex.

This is not the Britain I want to live in.

This happened last night and I hadn't heard about it until this post, so went to the BBC News homepage. You have to go all the way down the page, below recipes for 30 minute meals, and you find it as a text link in 'politics'.
