Into anything that gets me outdoors (fishing, diving, hunting, tramping etc etc). Enjoy BBQ, and the occasional pint while partaking in BBQ…long low n slow cooks are my favourite, more beer drinking time.
And it only needs to be one to be outside!

Tough times all around so it seems !

Said no one ever! It will be the drivers no doubt!

All the new builds around here are dual 45kg bottles. No solar, who is driving this step backwards? It’s definitely not a cost issue now, in fact, it’s the opposite. I don’t get it. We installed on demand gas hot water 15 years ago, and love it. Would I Installed that now? No.

The energy sector seems to be the only industry where if you back the wrong horse, you still come out on top. Consumer loses every time (whether is line upgrades, pipes upgrades…why don’t you they fund these things internally, like every other sector…rather than paying excessive dividends)

An amazing feat, if Luxo was in charge when that happened, he would have charged anyone on an Air NZ flight…full price
November 30, 2025 at 2:51 AM
He’s been on a downward trajectory ever since that stupid RW Govt want to lead, so when in opposition we like to ‘gum up the works’. What a waste of time, good riddance.

They are a Star Alliance member (same as Air NZ), so I guess they do code share, most likely with Singapore Airlines to get people down here…and maybe Air NZ

Even worse, using it as a PR photo op, painting himself as the good guy, who loves food (clearly). Guessing he probably took one of those boxes home, because he’s entitled to his entitlements and he helped out…

I remember that, it was significant because I don’t think that carrier had ever flown to New Zealand, they repatriated all the German tourists who were stuck here when flights ceased to exist. It was certainly a time! (I do miss the lack of traffic though!)

Poor old Simeon will do anything to sit in the front seat with Dad rather than be banished to the back seat…

Especially $11 beers in plastic bottles, that’s something you just can’t (easily) recreate at home…I wonder if they think their competitive advantage🤔

Cool shot, looks like Loch Cameron from that angle (with that backdrop).

I’ll remove a wall if I have to!

85-inch plus is definitely on my Christmas shopping/wish list. There are some good deals on Mini-LED ones at the moment!
November 29, 2025 at 11:50 PM
Surely if you buy it at that price they’ll have to honour it (they should remove it from the site otherwise).
November 29, 2025 at 11:44 PM
Plus, these days with a 65-inch plus TV, it’s a lot cheaper, more comfortable and easier to just watch the broadcast coverage. If they really wanted to drive in person watching, they wouldn’t broadcast it in the city the games are being played (like the do in Australia)

That would make sense, and swap the fake snow for Pohutakawa in flower. I hope they get more than the minimum wage!
November 29, 2025 at 11:10 PM
Yes, I imagine they are…
November 29, 2025 at 11:06 PM
Yes, and their ones a tricky to unsubscribe from, there’s about 30 to deselect, and no select all button (at least there wasn’t a while back)
November 29, 2025 at 8:54 PM
Two words, Elon Musk.
November 29, 2025 at 7:32 AM
They really should just rebrand it to Black November. I thought it was all over, then I started getting the NZ Black Friday deals rolling in….wave after wave. Five seperate BF deals from Ninja Kitchen yesterday alone. Had to un-subscribe, at least three a day, daily. Nope, that’s not how you do it.
November 29, 2025 at 5:48 AM
I guess that really comes down to how you intend using them😆
November 28, 2025 at 11:42 PM
Nature rebalancing itself. Nice.

And using Bamboo as scaffolding doesn’t seem like a good idea, I mean I know it’s abundant there…but when that stuff is dry, it’s goes up pretty quickly. It still worries me there are buildings in NZ that use that material that the Grenfell tower was made of, but we don’t know which ones😡
