Ma guarda che sono d'accordo con te sul caso specifico, ti contestavo solo per onestà intellettuale l'affermazione sulla necessità di avere evidenza di un nesso di causalità perché un regolatore possa avvertire i consumatori di nuovi possibili effetti nocivi di un farmaco già in commercio.

Per i regolatori, se il danno potenziale è considerato serio, è sufficiente avere evidenza anche di livello inferiore, ovviamente purché l'associazione/correlazione sia forte, consistente e ripetuta in studi multipli e di buona qualità (evidenze attualmente non disponibili per paracetamolo-autismo)

Ukr better not count on security guarantees from Italy, the country that switched sides in every war it fought. Italian parliament, as well as Meloni's govt, is packed w/ russian-friendly (likely russian-paid) politicians. Very skeptical that it would authorize military intervention to defend Kyiv

I say it's humiliating for western civilization that EU+UK could not in 3+ years of war get their industrial sector to adapt and speed up their arms production to match two failed, isolated (though heavily armed) countries, whose combined GDP barely equals that of Italy

This means nothing. Meloni is merely trying not to piss Trump while also not being ousted by UK, France and Germany. It's a useless proposal, only to buy some time and avoid positioning herself because she's a mediocre politician who can do nothing of real value for her country, when it matters
