Kiwi abroad. 1s, 0s and wiggly lines for EVs. Beer league hockey
Naranja nazi took me a few seconds, but that is *quite good*

Why would anyone even do this?
He's a national icon (to some anyway) and founded one of the great F1 teams.
And he died half a century ago.
Just why?!

Urgency...under urgency.
My kingdom for an edit button etc etc
December 11, 2025 at 9:48 PM
The ability to put changes through 'under agency' has got to be changed.
At a minimum it should require a 60% vote. If it's really urgently required you can get 10% to cross the floor

See also Spain and Italy.
School hols roll around and the whole place shuts down.
Understandable tbh, it's bloody hot there in the peak of summer

I had to do an advanced driver training course for work and the assessor knew within 10 minutes.
'You used to ride bikes?'
'Yeah...'
'I can always tell'

Even 15 years later your brain sees the road in a different way

1) Piss off
2) Have you seen European summer holidays? You can't get anything done in France, Italy or Spain for about a month over summer. I think NZ will be just fine

If he wants to climb into a rocket designed by AI, I'll chip in to the Kickstarter to fund it

A GP who is, most likely, also way past healthy levels of stress

But it's framed like the tikanga police can kick the doors down if you're not doing ten karakia every day
December 6, 2025 at 12:32 PM
From a quick read, it's just requirements to be involved in the ground breaking, the environment surrounding the site, accidental discovery during the build and to be engaged if IKEA aren't respecting cultural requirements.
December 6, 2025 at 12:30 PM
Maybe people are taking as many overseas holidays?
December 6, 2025 at 10:15 AM
They're efficient if nothing else.
Hitting numbers like that in the UK required Brexit, and that took years.
December 6, 2025 at 10:07 AM
That's interesting. Maybe age is a factor.
Mine is at the start of highschool so perhaps not thinking about learning languages in the same way.
December 6, 2025 at 1:07 AM
One of my kids loves it, has tried multiple languages.
Started being taught one of the languages at school and discovered they've learned basically nothing useful at all from the app.

This is about recycling lead acid batteries
EVs don't need or use lead acid batteries, so not sure of the relevance
December 5, 2025 at 8:26 PM
Well I for one am reassured that he's 'driving change'.
Although if he needs to work 100+ hours a week on it, he's probably not very good at it
December 5, 2025 at 2:33 PM
NZ has the same system which is hilarious when you have to find someone in the UK to vouch for your 3 year old.
Someone who has an NZ passport, has known them for at least a year and also isn't family.
December 5, 2025 at 8:48 AM
I'll be fucking gone, is what I'll be.
December 3, 2025 at 7:37 PM
Money has to come from somewhere. If the government isn't owning up to creating it, then who did? It wasn't me!
November 30, 2025 at 10:22 AM
If NZ was even slightly outward looking I'd direct their gaze to the UK.
Same bullshit here.
14 years of the Tories ruining everything, Labour finally get in and... do exactly the same things.
And that's how you get the Farages and Seymours of the world
