So my email from @takomaparkmd.gov was hot air. There are no plans to remove the slip lane. Although, it is my request that Takoma Park request removal.

"No improvements to the intersection of Carroll Avenue and Flower Avenue will occur with this project."

While this is from the City of @takomaparkmd.gov, this is a slip lane in their city, but they provided no information about whether there are plans to remove it or if the city recommends that. Just vague info about future maybe plans from SHA. This does not shed light on the question.

For a previous sidewalk repair request in Takoma Park, I made a request to SHA & received a call from TP telling me to contact MCDOT. Super convenient and not at all time-consuming.

For this request, I contacted TP, but apparently they have no say over slip lanes in their own city? Or do they not?

In this case, this is directly from the City of Takoma Park.

I still haven't entirely figured out the whodoeswhatological particularities in regards to state highways and sidewalks travelling through Takoma Park: SHA, MCDOT, or TP.
