HK-Singapore comparison thus shows Omicron was deadly in immune-naïve population, and that even when vaccines didn't stop INFECTIONS because Omicron evades immunity, they still made Omicron MUCH LESS DEADLY.

That paper even uses the same Hong Kong vs Singapore comparison that I have used many times: HK & Sing. both locked down until after vaccines, so both had 1st wave in Omicron era. HK had far more excess deaths per cap. because HK had many more unvaccinated older people.
