If you say so, lol. I mean, I've written and created professionally for almost a decade and as a hobby for over two decades, but sure, I guess all of that is negated because I touched AI in the last year.

I find it fascinating that a creative would be so anti-AI. Imagine looking at this incredible new tech and your mind not exploding with possibilities of how you can use it to have a wider output than ever before.

When the easiest answer is right in front of you: get over it. You don't have to use AI yourself. There are plenty of traditionalists in the art world who don't like the newer tools. But you DO have to learn to let go of others using it. They will whether you want them to or not.

Believing it to be a moral issue is what gives you control over something you feel powerless against. You know you can't fight AI, but you can fight people online, so the only thing that gives you a sense of control is making it a big villain and hating on others like villains for using it.

The link works fine for me, but here it is again I guess. And it's simple why you'd want that: you're so afraid of AI, the changes it brings, and the feeling of obsolescence that you're emotionally charged against it. It's not enough to simply dislike it: you have to believe it to be a moral issue.
The AI water issue is fake

Hey, do you know that it takes 0.04 liters of water to make an AI image, but it takes 5 liters to make a piece of paper you presumably want me to draw on with a pencil? Making AI art is literally better for the environment than a pencil and paper, lol

I presume you think it's 1)"stealing" (which it isn't any more than a human getting inspired, and claims of theft have failed in court constantly), 2) "bad for the environment" (it takes less water to make an AI pic than a piece of paper!), or 3) "soulless" (unquantifiable)? How about nah, lol

Beautiful as always!

A person posts some nice art, then some loser who doesn't like it and wants to make it everyone else's problem can't help but bully them rather than keeping their mouth shut. Sounds like pure projection to me, lol
December 1, 2025 at 3:32 AM
Neither is AI. Unless you know better than the multitude of court cases where they sided with AI each time when claims of theft were presented?

Even if you think this is true, why bother commenting on it? Do you say to anyone talking about Splenda in their tea "FUCK SPLENDA. NOT SUGAR!" Or do you mind your own business like a normal human being should? Lol

No more than a Roomba is our god, lol. It's just a powerful tool that can be used for good or ill.

I did fact check. That's the original post, lol

The whole "AI is bad for the environment!" discourse is utter bullocks fueled only by people who desperately WANT it to be true so that they can make AI and anyone who uses it a "villain." andymasley.substack.com/p/the-ai-wat...

A single piece. You read the post, right? Lol

Okay, that's still way more than AI then.

For making the paper. Pretty simple.

"Still weak," AKA the response of a person with no counter argument, lol. Once you realize all your issues with AI stem from your preconceived hatred of it out of fear, you'll eventually realize you have nothing to worry about.
