A full circle moment for me.
I first learned about the IBEW while incarcerated. It was surreal to share the same message that was shared with me more than 20 years ago:
“We don’t care what your past is so long as it stays there.”

A misty evening at San Quentin, where the Buddhadharma Sangha held its celebration of the Buddha’s enlightenment. We honored transformed lives, community, and liberation.

My trade union has a tool list. It outlines what employees can be expected to bring to the job. EVERYTHING else must be purchased by the employer. This protects the worker from being taken advantage of.
Don’t pay for stuff that your employer should be providing for you.
