Because it’s satire? Because it’s not Randy Newman literally hating short people, it’s him using the voice of a bigot to make a point about bigotry? It’s supposed to be ridiculous.

Absolutely my favourite comic book artist in my early teens (early 90’s) - much preferred his stuff for how much character he injected to the “superstar” artists of the period.

Really enjoyed this episode, loads in here that resonated with me. A lot of my formative gig going experiences were NZ christian rock groups (remember being gutted that the bass player from Drinkwater left to join the Newsboys). Thanks for the DC Talk update.

In the drawings I think I interpreted it as the underside of the visor rather than trim before. But not something I’d focussed on. Thank you for bringing this to my attention.
