Truly great to hear it. I'm enjoying writing these characters immensely. Some who didn't return in book 2 may well return for book 3...I think. Lol. If you wouldn't mind adding the kind words you posted above as an (evil) Amazon review, I'd appreciate it with great might!

Thank you! I've not read that one by Atwood, actually, but I'll seek it out. My motivation was mainly that I wanted a solid adventure tale that encapsulated *my* love of genre fiction. So, I wrote a buddy cop/frienemies kind of caper with touches of Conan the Barbarian and Alien. It was a blast!
