I did this exact gesture when I read the author of this extremely gracious review 🖤🖤🖤

my first book CHAINDEVILS still sawing through to your hearts, I love to see it - I take so much fuckin pride in writing things that folks champion or loathe, with little in-between

seen enough A24 movies to know what happens to me if I follow her in there 🌱🌸🐻🔥

I give Zach Bryan a hard time, but I hope y'all understand the importance of what he's done with that fucking song. This is the kind of shit that changes the hearts in need of full replacements. It's what country music in America is all about, baby.

OK, yes, the new PTA movie rips, but y'all truly must see THE LONG WALK because it's a perfect adaptation and I cried like a baby in an empty theater 🙏

I should have added "Alex Woodroe" to the list of folks who make me feel like there is a reason for *wild gesture* all this 🖤

omg when you read it, we gotta talk about it! It is sooo special!

tricked my ig followers into talking about books, and they're nice to me, so I'll mostly be using this bs account as a place to type things for them lol

got a message from a pal about talking to a horror writing workshop for students and, buddy, this is what it's all about-- teachers and librarians never fail to raise my self-esteem lol

moral of the humble-brag is this: GET IT HOWEVER YOU CAN, IF YOU CAN EVER GET IT, my dawgs 🙏

This is super helpful. I really need to dive into the rest of his work. Almost felt nervous to seek out the rest! It had such a profound effect on me, like, overnight I went from "maybe I should watch all the SUBSPECIES movies" to paying for rentals of THE AMERICAN FRIEND or THE LONG GOOD FRIDAY lol

oh SHIT I gotta check this book out!

the performances in this movie make me feel like I'm alive-- never seen anything like it, SO glad it exists!

It feels so petty at first, like, why don't I just remove them? They can still comment. Why the smoke and mirrors? Then you do it enough times that regard for other people's feelings just sort of evaporates and contentment blooms

muting writers who annoy is the best thing you can do for your career lmao social media is a must, sadly, but it doesn't have to be so obnoxious

Troma was kind enough to offer me a non-comics gig a few months later, but I was short on time with other work and couldn't make it happen. But one of these days...

one time I talked my way into pitching comics to Lloyd Kaufman and it was the best! dude was everything I wanted him to be, and even though it didn't work out at the time (COVID literally came crashing ashore that weekend) it's still one of my favorite memories

Ten days until release. A little while ago we shared chapter one on the Malarkey site but it’s been a while so I’m posting it again. There’s a preorder link on that page at the top!

For Kara, the answer to the question, “where will I go,” would always be home, or wherever Alec was.
