2. worry over small presses closing or paring down.

Let's talk direct action: YOU CAN DO BOTH😀

The Night Ship is fishing up some happy netgalley reviews. Someone called it fun, and Publisher's Weekly called it an "unsettling and immersive sci-fi thriller", and that is everything I wanted.

It's still on the 'galley, but if that's not your jam let me know!

I feel like Halloween candy sucks. Didn’t Snickers and Reese’s and Kit Kats used to taste better?? Every time I eat one all I can think is I’d rather have like those Lindt chocolate balls or Ferrere Rocher or ice cream or brownies.

The way Carlos Mencia screams when Jaime takes his car in Blue Beetle is so funny, I just had to say that

You will look so cool with one of these. Also someone ordered just a tote and it felt weird to only put a tote in a box to mail out so we threw in a free book.

The weird CEO in The Chair Company is so disturbingly well-written and close to personal experiences at an old job, most things he does/says are making me physically cringe, haha. Just so out of touch with what everyone at his company does and out of touch with how to be human

This story by @geoliminal.bsky.social, "Leeuwenhok's Lens" is a blast. A lot of fun spy shenanigans followed by a profound meditation about our place in the cosmos. Science fiction at its finest. Plus it's guaranteed to send you down a fun wiki rabbit hole. yourimpossiblevoice.com/leeuwenhoeks...

The kids are old enough now to just play hide and seek around the neighborhood. Reminds me of when I was a kid, playing ghost in the graveyard at night 🥲

It is a truth universally acknowledged: if a semi with a giant Cheetos ad on the side cuts you off, you cannot be angry. Because they are in want of reaching their delivery point. And you are in want of them delivering the Cheetos. So you can eat them.

There's other "Smart" add-ons as well, but that's the one that reads your content.
